The Iranians have interpreted his actions as a sign of weakness and have prolonged to pursue their goal of developing nuclear weapons that are capable of hitting Israel. Obviously, Obama's great idea of "sitting down and negotiating" with Iran and North Korea simply will not work. In addition, where is the moral outrage? Iran has a clearly fixed choice and installs an illegitimate leader (Ahmadinejad) as a result, and Obama gives him legitimacy by negotiating with him.

Another area which is very disturbing is his policy of unilateral disarmament of Us defense capabilities. Unilaterally removing the missile defense principles from Eastern Europe at a time when Russian imperialism is clearly addition was a misplaced and unnecessary decision and was interpreted as other sign of weakness by the Russians. In addition, it alienated our allies in Eastern Europe which the missile shield was intended to protect. Did Obama think that Russia would now suddenly preserve further sanctions on Iran in change for this move? I doubt that cooperating with Us international initiatives is high on Putin's "to do list" no matter how much Obama panders to him.

He is called upon as the leader of the "free world" to make hard decisions based on hard facts and not on naïve wishes and "good intentions".
