Health Care Reform Bill Passed - Barack Obama - The Road to Hell is Paved With Good Intentions
Good morning. Today, I learned about Health Care Reform Bill Passed - Barack Obama - The Road to Hell is Paved With Good Intentions. Which could be very helpful to me and you. Barack Obama - The Road to Hell is Paved With Good IntentionsWith all the rhetoric and promises of Barack Obama's "yes we can" campaign for president, I believe it is a good time to compare the relative success or failure of his policies nearing one year into his presidency. I believe that he has failed to deliver in any material way on most of his promises and has, instead, taken us down some very risky paths. Many of these "roads to Hell" he is prominent us down have been pursued with "good intentions", but in doing so, Obama has demonstrated a profoundly naïve view of the world and how it functions.
What I said. It shouldn't be the actual final outcome that the true about Health Care Reform Bill Passed. You check this out article for information about that want to know is Health Care Reform Bill Passed.Health Care Reform Bill Passed
The Economy
The most considerable "accomplishment" of the Obama supervision is the gigantic Stimulus Bill that was passed at the starting of Obama's presidency. The bill was hailed by Obama as an absolute necessity that "must be passed immediately" or the cheaper would collapse and unemployment would sky rocket to 8%. The Congress passed the bill in a fiscally irresponsibly way, in some weeks without any meaningful debate, strictly on partisan party lines. It was later discovered that most if not all of the Democrats that voted for the bill didn't even read it, although it commits time to come generations to paying back over 0 Billion.
This single irresponsible act increased the deficit to roughly .4 trillion. The ensue of this landmark legislation? The unemployment rate is approaching 10% and the cheaper is still losing over 500,000 jobs per month nearly one year later!
While many Democrats will point to the 3rd quarter 2009 Gdp of an increase of 3.5% and call this vindication of their policies, this increase is largely due to "non-recurring items" to use the corporate parlance. "Cash for clunkers", first time home buyer incentives, and other government spending accounted for a high division of the growth. Unless the government keeps printing and spending money, this is a one shot deal for the economy. The basic problems in the economy, such as job increase and business venture have been largely ignored by this administration. They have chosen instead to continue to print and spend money at an alarming and unsustainable rate.
Health Care Reform
A conference of Obama's policies could not be undertaken without exterior the current folly of "health care reform". While the condition care principles in this country is far from perfect, it does deliver the best condition care ready in the world. Habitancy come from all over to gain access to the best doctors and medical procedures when they are seriously ill. Issues like affordability, access, cost containment, and tort reform are truly worthy of thoughtful reform. The current Democratic proposals in Washington do not deal in a meaningful way with any of these legitimate issues. Instead, the Democrats seem considered to shove a new gigantic entitlement on the American Habitancy in the name of condition care reform.
The supervision and the democratically controlled Congress are single-mindedly considered to transform 16% of the Us cheaper into a governmentally controlled bureaucracy. Many Habitancy believe that this program, if enacted, will not operate costs, but instead will raise costs and lower the over-all capability and delivery of condition care in America. It will be funded in part by large tax increases, and Medicare cuts for both wealthy and middle class citizens. In addition, it will add tremendously to the deficit and create other under-funded government agenda similar to Medicare and communal Security.
International Affairs
There is no aspect of his presidency that displays more naiveté and ineffectiveness than in his foreign policy initiatives. Mr. Obama has taken the "policy of appeasement" to levels that would make even Neville Chamberland blush. Since becoming president, he seems to believe that it is the job of the President of the United States to appease our enemies and alienate our friends. If he is not gallivanting colse to the third world apologizing for all of America's transgressions, he is negotiating directly with illegitimate rulers of dictatorships (like Iran or North Korea) and attempting to "negotiate" his way to a nuclear free world. The Iranians have interpreted his actions as a sign of weakness and have prolonged to pursue their goal of developing nuclear weapons that are capable of hitting Israel. Obviously, Obama's great idea of "sitting down and negotiating" with Iran and North Korea simply will not work. In addition, where is the moral outrage? Iran has a clearly fixed choice and installs an illegitimate leader (Ahmadinejad) as a result, and Obama gives him legitimacy by negotiating with him.
Another area which is very disturbing is his policy of unilateral disarmament of Us defense capabilities. Unilaterally removing the missile defense principles from Eastern Europe at a time when Russian imperialism is clearly addition was a misplaced and unnecessary decision and was interpreted as other sign of weakness by the Russians. In addition, it alienated our allies in Eastern Europe which the missile shield was intended to protect. Did Obama think that Russia would now suddenly preserve further sanctions on Iran in change for this move? I doubt that cooperating with Us international initiatives is high on Putin's "to do list" no matter how much Obama panders to him.
Even French president Nicholas Sarkozy recently sight about the failure of his American counterpart to make the hard decisions that these times need (now we are being lectured to about getting tough by the French?) He stated that "Mr. Obama dreams of a world without nuclear arms", then describing Iran's nuclear threat, "At a inevitable moment hard facts will force us to make decisions". The "us" he refers to is the United States. The President of the United States does not have the luxury of receding into soft moralism. He is called upon as the leader of the "free world" to make hard decisions based on hard facts and not on naïve wishes and "good intentions".
The risky paths or "roads to Hell" cited in this report are by no means complete. There are well known examples such as, his "dithering" on Afghanistan, the ridiculous Nobel Peace Prize award, the enemies list, the financial and car business bailouts, financial re-regulation, and his desire to implement European style socialism in the Us.
Good intentions and wishful thinking are not adequate for an American president to be effective. He must face the hard facts of each situation and understand human nature as it is, not as he wishes it to be.
